Department Pediatrics Faculty of the Central Asia medical institute of pediatrics was founded in 1972. From 1972 till 1982 the department was headed by the professor Yuldashev S.N. In 1982 the mentioned department became a part of the department “ Children diseases N.2”. And from 1992 due to the change of teaching programme the department of faculty of pediatrics was created anew. From that time till the present Muratkhodjaeva A.V. is the Head of the department.
